Whitetails are everywhere here at The Big Hole C4 Lodge. This unique piece of Big Hole River bottom is loaded with enormous whitetail bucks who reside on our sprawling property. Large cotton-wood groves, golden hay fields laced with willow stands, as well as two meandering spring creeks, make this ranch a Whitetail hunting paradise.

Whitetail deer are so abundant,

they are often in the front yard of the Lodge - they love it here!

Our best Whitetail of the previous season was a healthy 150 class buck taken by a 13-year-old boy! Boone & Crocket or Pope & Young size bucks are often seen on the property. Our hunts are an absolute adventure; you never know what you will find out here!

These non-guided hunts are for Bow hunting and Muzzleloader hunting only (high-powered rifles are not permitted). This can create a refuge for whitetails during rifle season and makes for some excellent full-rut Bow or Muzzleloader hunts in November. Our season opens around the second week of September and runs through November.

To insure quality hunts for our guest these non-guided hunts are offered in limited quantity; it is always best to book well in advance to insure your reservation.

The Lodge will provide you with an accurate map of the ranch. This will include important property boundaries as well as key watering holes and feeding locations. We believe Bow hunting is a solitary sport best enjoyed alone and without the interference of a guide. The opportunity to harvest big deer is likely, and the choice to release an arrow will be yours to make, not the guide's.
